24-7 Prayer at UCLA Shifts the Spiritual Atmosphere!
Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
Hosea 6:3
A few months back UCLA established a day of 24-7prayer for campus revival. Ever since this happened, nothing has been the same. The Holy Spirit has been pouring out His Spirit on this campus like no other. At the same time, our ministry (www.campustransformation.com, www.campuschurch.net) has tracked over 80+ 24-7prayer rooms on different major universities all across the nation since the month of January. Something is stirring, the power of God is falling and the Holy Spirit is preparing a generation for a last great awakening that will shake the nations and finish the Great Commission in our generation. We recognize without prayer nothing is possible, with prayer all things can be done. Prayer is the fuel behind our evangelism. The below is a report of what the Holy Spirit has been doing in great grace and great power at the UCLA campus. We are not just satisfied with good prayer rooms we want to see the power of God encounter a generation & we are seeing it happen right before our eyes here in Los Angeles once again. Yes, one hundred years after the Azusa Street Revival in LA an expectancy of God’s visitation upon Los Angeles is pregnant in the hearts of many once again. Yes, 50 years since the beginning of the greatest student spiritual revolution started on the UCLA campus by Bill Bright of Campus Crusade we are at the threshold of another great student revival awakening. Do not relent, press in with prayer, fasting and a bold Gospel witness. The below is my own story of the powerful things God has been doing through a small band of students in our house church network who are united with other like minded Christ followers at the UCLA campus.

100 years after Azusa Street: where are we going?
Exactly 100 years ago, in April 1906, the Holy Spirit fell on a ragtag group of black, white, and Hispanic Christians who had gathered in the rundown Azusa Street Mission in Los Angeles. They sang with fervor, testified of God’s sanctifying power and spoke in tongues. This now-famous revival, led by an unknown black preacher named William Seymour, was a defining moment in the history of Christianity.
Pentecostalism has now spread to every continent and in some cases is fueling the most staggering church growth on the planet. Yet at the same time many sectors of the movement have become musty, stale and painfully
irrelevant.
“Let’s resist nostalgia,” warns Charisma editor J. Lee Grady. “As we approach the 100th anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival, we must shift into the new things God is doing. The cloud of God’s presence does not stay in one place too long. He is always moving forward. He wants to reach every generation. We might have to kill our sacred cows, tear down the old monuments and have some funerals. As wonderful as the past was, we can’t live there.”

When the world fails you.
When friends fail you.
When hope and dreams don’t come to pass.
When your heart is broken.
When you can’t seem to do anything right.
When you feel like all hell is against you.
When you feel like giving up.
When you can’t understand it all.
When you think there is no way.
When life hands you a bunch of question marks.
When you are tired & you feel like you can’t go on.
When you have done all you can.
Then this is when you find Life.
This is when He becomes all.
This is how it ends & life actually begins.
It is in death that true life can blossom.
I think I found it tonight once again.
Something touched my heart in worship.
Something broke through in my spirit.
I found Him.
I found the reason for living.
I found the purpose for being.
I found Him.
I found Life.
I found Everything.
I was having a rough day today. I can’t explain all that happened, but the enemy was challenging my heart. I fought back. I pressed in tonight even with the distractions the Devil was throwing against me. By God’s grace I kept seeking Him, I kept pressing into His presence, I kept fighting to regain back my heart. God captured it tonight. Something in my heart broke open during our prayer meeting at the house of prayer. I felt the song coming. One of my favorites, I sang it, I prophesied it, I gave it my all, with everything in me…& it set me free.
