“God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to be just like Jesus. ” — Max Lucado

1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Being a Christian is not about being saved, that is just the beginning. The purpose of Christianity is that we may know Christ. My passion and goal in this life is to know God more each and every day. My prayer is that by the time my life on this earth is over that I would be more in love with Jesus then, then when I began.

Everything in this life is meaningless if it is done without Christ. All that I do is meaningless unless what I do draws me closer to Him. What we do for God is not as important as our relationship with God. Many people do things for God, but forget to do life with Him. What God wants more than anything else is not our hands, but our hearts. He is not a God of rules and regulations, but He is a God of spirit and truth. We must worship Him with our hearts, not our forms or traditions. When we truly seek Him, then God is able to mold us, shape us and make us more like His Son.

PASSION ~ MUSIC VIDEO SHOOT

This weekend my good friend and award winning director Hosanna Wong shot the music video for “PASSION” one of my singles from the upcoming album “GLORY” The video was shot in a studio on the CBS lot with different athletes doing what they do best. Below are some pictures from the set. Thank you to Hosanna, Lillian, JB , Rich and all the others who committed their time and energy to make this music video the very best. I KNOW this song and video are going to inspire many to live with passion … cause there is no other way to live life but to follow our hearts… no matter the cost!

EAST WEEK #10 “WE ALL NEED FORGIVENESS”

East Week #10 “WE ALL NEED FORGIVENESS”

Recently, when I read the many negative reports in Hong Kong media concerning celebrities who have made mistakes or were angry at one another, my heart was broken. Although, I don’t want to comment about any one person involved in these situations, I do feel the need to talk about the need for forgiveness.

My hope and prayer is that we as a people would learn to forgive as we have been forgiven. No one is perfect and we all need forgiveness. Everyone makes mistakes and we are all in need of God’s grace. I’m a pastor, but I am far from perfect. I have made many mistakes in the past and I’m sure I will make more mistakes in the future. I am only human as are you. Each of us is ridden with sin and in need of God’s mercy. I pray that we can learn to extend forgiveness to one another, because bitterness, hatred and anger will only end in death.

1040 SERMON ~ Christianity in Asia

p10201133

I gave this message at “The Vine Christian Fellowship” in Hong Kong a few Sundays ago during our 1040 filming trip. This message sets the tone for God’s purpose for the Asian Church in the End Times. Listen to this message, pass it on to your friends and let the spirit of God move you to respond in obedience and action.

ONE CRAZY ADVENTURE ~ 1040

DA QIN - The first Christian Monastery in China. Praying for God to bring back the Gospel to the Church of the East!

DA QIN - The first Christian Monastery in China. Praying for God to bring back the Gospel to the Church of the East!

I just got back to the states. I already miss Asia, but I’m also super happy to be back in my own bed in LA! Man, this last trip to Asia was amazing, crazy, powerful, full of love and never ending with miracles. Sometimes, I wish I had the time to journal every miracle I experience on a daily basis, it would be like volumes of miracles! But, I guess some things are meant to be shared others are not. Didn’t it say in the Gospel of John if every miracle of Jesus was to be written there would not be enough books to contain them? That’s how I feel at times, there are just too many divine encounters each day, too many to count. God is great!

EAST WEEK #9 ~ EVERY LIFE COUNTS

REMEMBER: EVERY LIFE COUNTS…. S.L.E.D.

28 years ago, my mother was five minutes away from making a decision to abort my life in a hospital clinic. I thank God that she chose to give me a chance to live in this world. If she had not, I would not be writing this column today and teaching others the value and sanctity of life.

Abortion is major issue all around the world. Sadly, almost a third of all pregnancies in Hong Kong are terminated. 29% of all babies born are aborted in Hong Kong. In all developed countries Hong Kong has the highest rate of abortion at 29%. Number two in the world rankings is the USA at 24.4%, then Canada at 24.3% and Australia at 23.7%.

The statistics can be higher in Hong Kong, because many abortions are done illegally. My heart breaks when I hear this because so many beautiful lives and potential destinies are lost. We need to have better sex education in Hong Kong and the world to let young people know why they should practice abstinence and be responsible with their actions.

ANTIOCH FORERUNNER FOUNDATION ~ RISE UP!

As I am here in Hong Kong at the moment shooting our documentary film “1040″ on “Christianity in Asia” I want to bring to attention all of you who read my blog to consider joining our “Antioch Forerunner Foundation” mission’s training program. In the last 4 years more than 4,000 young adults have committed to do missions in East Asia for 2 years to bring the Gospel from Asia back to Jerusalem. In order to facilitate this student mission movement we started a discipleship training school in the summer last year with 15 students from US, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and elsewhere in Kansas City, MO. In one word the 4 week training was “powerful” as each person was equipped in the “prayer + mission”… I can’t encourage and challenge each of you to seriously pray and consider spending your summer this year in one of our AFF training programs in either Kansas City (IHOP), Taiwan or Hong Kong. Your life will be changed eternally, more so this will be the necessary training you need to see all of Asia transformed with the Gospel and a mission army raised up for Christ in these end days to bring the Gospel back to Jerusalem and fulfill the Great Commission. RISE UP TO THE CALL! Read below for the vision and details…
