365 DAYS OF LOVE ~ THE INTRODUCTION

YouTube Preview Image

So I’ve decided what my 2010 New Years resolution will be. This may sound crazy, but I’m going to do my best with this. Basically, I’ve realized after being a pastor for so many years that it’s easy to talk about love, it’s another thing to live a life of love. Many people may know me for my preaching, or music, or creative endeavors, but that means nothing unless I live out what I talk about. So I don’t want to only let others hear me talk about it, but I really want to be about it. I want to practice what I preach by doing the following new years resolution and challenge to myself… honestly, I’m a little scared but here it goes…

365 DAYS OF LOVE….

Starting January 1st 2010 I want to live out 365 days of love by putting my love into action. How will I do this? I will attempt to do one act of kindness to someone each day of the year. That is, 365 acts of love for 365 days of the next year. Each day I will post a blog about the random act of kindness that occurred. It can be anything from helping someone out, to listening to someone’s problems, to telling someone how amazing they are, or to do some crazy act of love for a stranger. I don’t know, I will have to trust that each day will bring before me an opportunity to love. So for Monday-Saturday 6 days a week I will write a text blog. But 1 day a week on Sunday I will post a video blog of an act of love I did that day or week. The hope is that as I step out in faith to love, others can be challenged and encouraged to do the same. So there you have it….

The challenge ~ 365 ACTS OF KINDNESS FOR 365 DAYS OF THE YEAR

The purpose ~ To not just talk about love, but be about love

The goal ~ To live a life of love that will hopefully inspire others to love the same

Lets see what this New Years resolution brings. I will need all of your prayers and support! Honestly, I don’t know if I can do it, I may fail certain days, but its the heart that counts and I’ll do my best to love others the same way I would desire to be loved…. lets keep spreading the love friends…. because to live is to love.

LOVE,

JMA

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jaeson, I’m with you on this. I’ll do the same thing. I also want to live out 365 days of love by putting my love into action. Last year, I don’t feel like I’ve helped alot of people. I’ve been selfish and too shy to help people.
January 1, 2010: I helped my dad cook, set the table and washing the dishes. He seemed happy and thankful. My siblings and I almost made him disappointed cause we woke up late for church today. I was sleepy but as a role model to my siblings, I woke up and went down stairs. Good thing my siblings followed. :) HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hey! I hope you’re fine…you know, you really inspire me….so I’ve decided to make the same project as you, but mine is gonna be 354 days of love, unless I’ll make 2 act of kindness for 5 days to make up…whatever, I’m gonna definitely join the project…

This is just a way of saying thanks to you…since you came into my life, you really make me reflect a lot and the most important thing, you made me come back to God…so thanks a lot Mr. Jaeson Ma. God bless you ♡

Hey Pastor Jaeson – really inspired by your 365 days of love. Your random acts of kindness reminds me that your food is to do the will of the Father and to finish His work (Jn 4:34). Well, if you need some creative ways of loving others, I’m gonna check out laundry love with Newsong. I’ll be going for the first time – http://laundrylovesantaana.com. If you’re free, swing by. God bless.

    Love is always good news.

One can reject your evangelization, but can’t reject your love.

    Keep on.
