MY BIG SIS NANCY & ME :) GOOD TIMES! FAMILY TIME! LOVE YA SIS!
I’ve been around the world and back for the last 50 days… I’ve been super wiped out, but it’s been a good wiped out. At the same time, this week is the first time I’m back in the office for real to get business done at our company (www.adventures.tv). So you can imagine the literally, thousands of emails, calls, projects and team building that I need to get back to since I’ve been gone. Well, at the same time one of my big sisters Nancy has come into town to visit me… so definitely it’s been an internal struggle of making sure I’m a good host, spending time with my family but also the pulling in my mind to catch up on work and get things done.
This morning I was in one of those dilemmas, do I get up, jet out the apartment, leave my big sister alone for most of the day and head to the office? Or do I take some time out from work, trusting that things will get done eventually and have a breakfast with my big sister?
To those who have an ear to hear, those who are willing to humble ourselves and pray
Some of you have heard, but just about an hour ago at 3:40PM in Baja California a massive 7.2 (some say 6.9) earthquake hit. We felt the earthquake at 3:44PM on 4/4 in downtown LA right while I was speaking about God’s coming revival and glory to LA with three friends at a cafe. When the table begin to shake and the ground began to quake, we knew it was not only an earthquake, but a SIGN from heaven that God’s kingdom is coming! I don’t believe anyone needs to be afraid as long as we are walking with God. He gives us warnings in order to prepare us, to protect us because He loves us. We must always live each day as if it were our last, live like were dying, nothing new for anyone who follows Christ as His disciple for He calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him daily… with this recent earthquake on 4/4 Easter my thoughts…
Two years ago I wrote a series of blog posts about baby “Emma” The name comes from the Latin name “Emmanuela” which comes from “Emmanuel” or “God with us” … the Spirit of the Lord showed me this generation would have prophetic connection with this name. Mainly, that God’s presence, the revelation of God as Loving Father and Passionate Bridegroom would be revealed to this chosen generation. Read back through my dreams and Emma posts…
Interestingly, two separate friends sent me two links on how “Emma” is now the #1 name for babies in the US. Come Holy Spirit let your light and love shine on the Emma generation.

On Sep 16, 2008, she developed a fever and was rushed to a private specialist hospital in Yangon. The Australian and UK trained Pediatric Consultant, recommended baby Emma to be immediately admitted to Yangon Children Hospital ICU for 24 hours monitoring as Emma has been diagnosed with severe pneumonia. Comprehensive treatments were given to Emma in that ICU but she didn’t respond to the treatment positively.
In less than 24 hours, Emmanuel Lim (baby Emma) finished her race in Myanmar and went home to be with Jesus.
Many in different nations grieve over the lost of baby Emma’s presence with them but her legacy in the grace of God will continue to shine brightly.
During her short and meaningful life, her inspirational story has also inspired the founding of Emmanuel Charity Fund Ltd. in Hong Kong and Emmanuel Foundation Inc. in U.S.A.
Emmanuel travelled to many nations with her parents and her brother Samuel Lim from June 24, 2008 until September 17, 2008.
