This past Saturday the glory of God came down at the Noah’s Ark as thousands of youth gathered from all over the city of Hong Kong to experience God’s presence and power. The night was electric, as we held a pop concert with my good friend MC Jin, Van Ness Wu, Sherman Chung, Sean from “JinuSean” and a powerful personal testimony from a young man who was delivered from a life of addiction to drugs. I came on at the end and performed LOVE and preached on being set free from addictions through the power of Jesus Christ! You could feel God’s presence so thick in the place. Every performance was dope, every artists that shared their faith from their heart was real and in the end thousands stood up to receive deliverance and salvation. I was so blessed because hundreds of youth were bused in from the poorest areas in the city who have been struggling with different kinds of addictions. So many received hope, healing and freedom through the power of the Cross and I know this is just the beginning of a love revolution that will sweep across the youth of Hong Kong and all of Asia. I’m looking forward to the next one!
This version of my song “LOVE” was directed and compiled by Mike Jacinto. My friend randomly stumbled upon it on the web and was deeply moved after watching it and showed it to me. We got in touch with Mike and he told us after listening to the song he was inspired to make this video to show to others. He made it in 10 hours and it was his first time editing a video piece. I’m amazed, touched and inspired by God’s gift through him. This video really put “love into action” for me… the ending convicted me … What is LOVE? … love is an action, love is a movement, keep spreading the LOVE and this new video of LOVE to everyone you know… keep the loving coming everybody ><>

This Saturday night (10/10/09) I am going to be performing live my new single LOVE at FRESH 2009 opening up for David Crowder Band & my friend Pastor Francis Chan. Although I will be performing at this event, I believe it will be more than a event, it will be an ENCOUNTER with God. I am asking for all of you to pray that the thousands of students who will fill the LA Sports Arena from all over California that night would experience the manifest presence of God. Pray that this night would be a declaration of faith and allegiance to Christ over the universities of Southern California as college students from all over the LA region will gather to WORSHIP ONE GOD. To GIVE HIM GLORY. To UNITE TOGETHER. To STAND UP FOR TRUTH. To LOVE, LIVE and LET GOD be GOD in our generation. I pray that when I come on that stage you won’t see me, you won’t see David Crowder Band, you won’t see a man, but that YOU WILL SEE GOD and ENCOUNTER HIS GLORY…

I know this event will be more than an event, it will be an encounter. LAST NIGHT, THE SPIRIT OF GOD CONTINUED TO MOVE POWERFULLY ON THE SECOND NIGHT OF ARMY OF GOD INDONESIA. THERE WERE POSSIBLY 5,000-10,000 MORE PEOPLE ATTENDING THEN THE FIRST NIGHT. I WAS REMINDED OF ACTS 5 WHEN THE TEACHING OF JESUS HAD SPREAD THROUGHOUT ALL OF JERUSALEM… THE WORD OF GOD IS GOING OUT, THE SECULAR PRESS IS REPORTING IT AND THE CITY IS BEING SHAKEN WITH THE PRESENCE OF GOD….

I HAD THE HONOR AND PRIVILEGE LAST NIGHT BEFORE I PREACHED THE GOSPEL TO PERFORM MY NEW SINGLE “LOVE” … THE SONG HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED PUBLICLY YET TILL LATER THIS OR NEXT MONTH. BUT ONLY A HALF HOUR BEFORE I SPOKE, EVAN FROM “1040″ TOLD ME I SHOULD PERFORM THE SONG… WITHIN 30 MINUTES WE DOWNLOADED THE TRACK OFF MY EMAIL, THEY SET IT UP IN THE SOUND BOOTH AND VAN NESS PRACTICED THE CHORUS…. WHAT HAPPENED NEXT WAS SURREAL…I WAS STANDING THERE POSSIBLY BEFORE 40,000 YOUTH IN ASIA SPEAKING, PREACHING AND PROPHESYING “LOVE” WITH HANDS WAVING AND THEN THE FIRE OF GOD FALLING OVER THE WHOLE CROWD AFTER THE SONG WAS FINISHED. I TOLD THEM MY MUSIC IS NOT JUST MUSIC, ITS NOT JUST A SONG, IT IS THE POWER OF GOD, THE SPIRIT OF GOD, IT IS A PRAYER…I FELT IT AS I WAS PERFORMING THAT IT WAS COMPLETELY PROPHETIC AND I WAS OUT OF MYSELF…
This weekend my good friend and award winning director Hosanna Wong shot the music video for “PASSION” one of my singles from the upcoming album “GLORY” The video was shot in a studio on the CBS lot with different athletes doing what they do best. Below are some pictures from the set. Thank you to Hosanna, Lillian, JB , Rich and all the others who committed their time and energy to make this music video the very best. I KNOW this song and video are going to inspire many to live with passion … cause there is no other way to live life but to follow our hearts… no matter the cost!
