On July 11, 2010 we will be holding KINGDOM COME 3 …. a night where we gather as one church in the city of LA to worship, pray and seek the face of God to encounter His love. It is going to be a night of encounter with God’s presence as churches and missional communities gather from all over the LA land to go in the opposite spirit of 7/11 church “get in and get out” rather, we are not going to be seeker friendly, but we are going to be seeking hard after the pursuit of knowing God more in our generation… my man Caleb Lin will be leading praise & worship… I will give the message on “Experiencing God’s Affections” if you are in the Los Angeles… we will see you there, desperate, hungry and expectant for God to move as we turn this night club into a light club… COME NOW IS THE TIME TO WORSHIP!

I had to perform my new song “LOVE” for the first time live to a crowd of 5,000 at the LA Sports Arena. It was nerve racking for me to be honest with you. Now, I’ve been speaking to crowds of thousands for years around the world, but there is always a nervous feeling that comes over me whenever I do something for the first time. I had never performed my new style of music, where I preach over music to a large crowd in the United States, so I was a bit nervous on how it would turn out. I was worried about whether the crowd would respond well to the new style of music, if they would interact with my live performance and whether I would even do an excellent live show.
So I had two months to prepare. I went in and rehearsed my lines, my every move, my every word and imagined myself performing in front of the crowd of 5,000 before it even happened. Even after 2 months of weekly practice, I still had butterflies in my stomach the day before and all kinds of negative thoughts were going through my mind of the possibilities of not doing a good job at the event the next day.

I’m currently touring 1040 + JMA CONCERTS to 9 Cities in 9 Days… this is just the beginning. The last 4 cities UCLA, Boston University, New Jersey Rutgers and Chicago have been insane! The only word to describe what is happening at each of these 1040/JMA events is “AWAKENING” …. almost every venue has been packed out, students crying out for heaven to touch earth, hundreds responding to God’s global mission, the Spirit being poured out with signs, wonders and miracles… this is no joke, this is serious, this is real….
1040 is more than a movie, its a movement. JMA is more than music, it is a movement. 1040/JMA is more than an event, it is an encounter with God… so let’s do this. At the last “Kingdom Come” in Los Angeles I gave a message on “The Calling of the Artisan” from Exodus 35, 36… watch this youtube flip cam sermon part 1-8. It is key to understand that God can not create culture without the “artists” creating on earth as it is in heaven. The Spirit of God fills artisans to create, influence and shape culture for His glory. My response to the earthquake on 4/4 and it’s spiritual significance
If you are in Los Angeles, come to “Kingdom Come II” on 4/18 at 6PM as we gather those who are hungry to worship God in Spirit & Truth. This is our second city wide night of prayer & worship to seek God’s face to see His kingdom come to Hollywood and transform Southern California with His manifest glory… we believe with the recent earthquakes 4.4 at 4:04 on 3/16 and then another earthquake on 4/4 as prophesied and confirmed (read here)… that there is spiritual significance of a “spiritual quake and awakening” that is happening right now in LA, Hollywood and beyond… we need to come together to see God’s face with hunger & holiness… I’ll be giving a prophetic message on “Transforming Media & Entertainment for God’s Glory” at Kingdom Come 2 …
