When I was 18 I walked the streets of China and saw something I will never forget. I saw streets filled with disabled children begging for money. Some of them had no legs, others had cleft lips, and many were mentally or physically impaired. That image of children suffering has been stuck in my mind till this day. As a Chinese American who had grown up in middle class suburbia for most of my life, I was totally shocked to see what I saw when I walked the streets of my homeland, China. Yet, this shocking reality of deep poverty is a reality that billions of people must face on a daily basis.
More than one billion people in the world live on less than one dollar a day. In total, 2.7 billion struggle to survive on less than two dollars per day. Every year 11 million children die-most under the age of
IHOPU OUTPOURING OF THE SPIRIT
As many of you know, I have been connected with the International House of Prayer for nearly 10 years. Their passion has always been obeying the Great Commandment in order to fulfill the Great Commission through night and day prayer & worship. I have been praying for God to move in Kansas City with revival and an in break of the Holy Spirit’s power for years… now it is happening. Historically, nearly every revival began with university students confessing sin, repenting and seeking God for spiritual awakening in their generation. I’m not surprised that it is happening once again, this time at IHOP University… I believe the faithfulness to night and day prayer for now 10 years at IHOP is being answered with a move of the Spirit that will release thousands of students around the world in missions… read below on how the outpouring happened… In fact, the Spirit broke in on my birthday 11/11 which has always been a prophetic number for spiritual awakening (John 11:11, Revelation 11:11) lets keep praying and expecting for more of God…

MC Hammer’s former right-hand man, Chinese-American Jaeson Ma, has become what has to to be the world’s most prominent Asian hip-hop pastor, travelling the globe and spreading the Christian word of God through music. His upcoming documentary, “1040,” explores the key role he believes Asia will play during the End Times.
Ma’s blog says, “The current global shifts (are) not only politically, economically, militaristically, but also spiritually in the Far East … Asia is the future and we must understand it’s leadership in God’s ultimate plan to bring the nations to His glory. Currently, Asia is experiencing the fastest growing movement of Christian expansion historically with over 40,000 people coming to Christ in East Asia mainland daily, the largest churches in the world residing in South Korea, the largest Muslim nation Indonesia is now possibly over 20% Christian.” [sic]
Meaning: the Messiah might just show up in Hong Kong. (Start thinking about what you’ll be wearing now!)

Meeting & Discussing with Leaders in the White House
This past week I got an interesting phone call. I got a call to meet in Washington D.C. in our nations capital at the White House. I ended up flying to D.C. on Wed for a Thursday 1pm meeting at the White House. I had a meeting with the Social Action and Faith Based Initiative Departments to discuss how to mobilize 5 million Americans and faith based communities to GO GREEN, or better care for our environment. (find out more at: www.GodsGreenAmerica.com) They asked me to be the youth and pop culture spokesperson to create a strategy and campaign to educate and empower the next best generation to care for God’s creation.
HOPE ~ THERE WERE OBAMA PICTURES EVERYWHERE!
To be honest with you, I found it a surprise that I would receive this call and be privileged to meet with our nations leaders on this subject matter. The more I prayed and thought about it, I realized it was God’s providence and assignment to take on this issue of “Creation Care” and mobilize this current generation to take up the responsibility given to us from the beginning of time, to tend to the garden and steward the earth. I believe that “creation care” is an Biblical issue that all people of faith can agree upon, converse and work together to make happen. For many in the liberal left or the conservative right, there has not been an issue of faith that we could take responsibility together without being divided. I believe “going green for God” is at the root issue about promoting a culture of LIFE in this nation and our generation. We have to start from here…
The Bible says in, Genesis 2:15 – The LORD God put the man in the Garden of Eden to take care of it and to look after it. In other words, part of God’s original purpose and assignment for humankind was for us to take care of the earth and be good stewards of its resources. Sadly, it seems that we as human beings have not cared for God’s creation rather we have consumed it and in many ways destroyed it.
Dear Prayer Team,
I leave for Indonesia Sunday night to minister with the Asia for Jesus team for 3 days/nights in the largest Muslim nation in the world (May 14-16, 2009). We are expecting thousands to witness the supernatural power of God and come to a saving encounter with Jesus Christ. I have been OVERWHELMED by the presence of the Holy Spirit the last few days, I know that this strategic mission will go down in history as one of the great revivals in Asia. We are expecting thousands upon thousands (many Muslim) at the Surabaya Airport base to hear the preached Gospel with signs, wonders and miracles confirming. This will be one of the first major partnerships between the Indonesian and Chinese Church to unite to win the Muslim world for Christ. I am humbled, under the fear of the Lord and asking each of you to pray that God’s angels of harvest would reap a great revival and awakening in this key area of the world in God’s end time purposes.

I just got back to the states. I already miss Asia, but I’m also super happy to be back in my own bed in LA! Man, this last trip to Asia was amazing, crazy, powerful, full of love and never ending with miracles. Sometimes, I wish I had the time to journal every miracle I experience on a daily basis, it would be like volumes of miracles! But, I guess some things are meant to be shared others are not. Didn’t it say in the Gospel of John if every miracle of Jesus was to be written there would not be enough books to contain them? That’s how I feel at times, there are just too many divine encounters each day, too many to count. God is great!

Specifically, I am asking for your daily prayers between April 1-17, 2009. Our media company is filming a documentary called “1040″ a story about “Christianity in Asia” and Asia’s role in the end times. We will be traveling to Asia two times in the next two months to shoot this film in various Asian countries. I will be leaving on Monday with our production team Evan Leong and Anson Ho to Hong Kong, mainland China and finally Seoul Korea for our first trip.
As many of you know, this past December 31st, we held a special “Asian Breakout Session” at the onething Conference in Kansas City. It was a powerful time where 300+ students and young adults were challenged and re-envisioned to transform East Asia and bring the Gospel back to Jerusalem. Mike Bickle came and shared on Asia’s role in the end times as revealed in Daniel 11 and Revelation 16:12-14. God is raising up another student volunteer missions movement!
If you were not able to make that session, we will be holding a similar breakout session at onething Laguna Niguel this Saturday, February 16-18, 2007! It will be during the workshop portion on Saturday, from 2pm-4pm.
