A new documentary film, “1040,” explores Asia’s role in the future direction of Christianity

MC Hammer’s former right-hand man, Chinese-American Jaeson Ma, has become what has to to be the world’s most prominent Asian hip-hop pastor, travelling the globe and spreading the Christian word of God through music. His upcoming documentary, “1040,” explores the key role he believes Asia will play during the End Times.

Ma’s blog says, “The current global shifts (are) not only politically, economically, militaristically, but also spiritually in the Far East … Asia is the future and we must understand it’s leadership in God’s ultimate plan to bring the nations to His glory. Currently, Asia is experiencing the fastest growing movement of Christian expansion historically with over 40,000 people coming to Christ in East Asia mainland daily, the largest churches in the world residing in South Korea, the largest Muslim nation Indonesia is now possibly over 20% Christian.” [sic]

FASHION DESIGNS SKETCHES FOR HER SHOOT

So one of my greatest joys is seeing my good friends SHINE like they were born to ^^ I met Anjelah Johnson about 4 years ago during my friends B-day party at my home church. She did a stand up routine that you might be familiar with called “Nail Salon Lady” … when I saw it I cracked up so hard people thought I was crazy in the room… little did they know both me and Anjelah grew up with Vietnamese people in East Side San Jose! 408 represent!!!

After that hilarious experience, God told me he would elevate her to stardom quickly and to pray for her. I asked Anj after her performance if she had her routine on DVD or youtube.com? She said, “No” … I said, “I need it because God’s going to make you famous! LOL!” Well, the rest is history…We ended up becoming incredible friends praying and supporting each other in this little town called Hollywood. Well, I’m here to tell you that Anjelah is not just FUNNY, but she is the real deal Holyfield!! I’m just super proud of her because she has kept her purity, her purpose and her focus to be all that God created her to be w/out compromising her faith, integrity and self respect. I just got back to the states. I already miss Asia, but I’m also super happy to be back in my own bed in LA! Man, this last trip to Asia was amazing, crazy, powerful, full of love and never ending with miracles. Sometimes, I wish I had the time to journal every miracle I experience on a daily basis, it would be like volumes of miracles! But, I guess some things are meant to be shared others are not. Didn’t it say in the Gospel of John if every miracle of Jesus was to be written there would not be enough books to contain them? That’s how I feel at times, there are just too many divine encounters each day, too many to count. God is great!  Read more...

This past weekend I went on a last second trip to Sundance Film Festival. I’m currently working on a film documentary and thought I might get some extra inspiration by checking out the internationally acclaimed festival for independent films. Well, I went for one reason, God had me go for another. 

I ended up getting a phone call from my prophet fried Bill Klekas who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah a few days before I left to the festival. He ended up opening up his beautiful home to me, Caleb and Heather (my two buddies) and we had a prophetic encounter like no other. During those 3 days there, we got to spend some good time hearing from the Holy Spirit for one another (iron sharpening iron) and I came away with a lot more clarity with my role and purpose in this season ministering in Hollywood and the entertainment field. 

We also got to see some amazing films! Since we didn’t buy tickets in advance, we had to wake up early each morning to fight for extra tickets at the box office. It was tiring and a lot of fun!   Read more...
