REFOCUS

DRIVING FROM NOR CAL TO SO CAL... REFOCUSING!

DRIVING FROM NOR CAL TO SO CAL... REFOCUSING!

I had a chance to drive up from Socal to Norcal for Christmas this past week to visit family and friends. I ended up driving 6 hours up and 7 hours and back down. During my time in the car, I had a lot of alone time to think, reflect and talk to God about the past year…

I realized so much has happened in just the past 12 months. So much has happened in my life personally and in the world around me. As I spoke with God and listened to His voice, things became much more clear in my mind. A few things that struck me deeply was the fact that I am about to turn 30 in 201o. Many people call the 30′s as the prime of men. It’s when boys become men. It’s when a man should be at his best. It is also when Jesus began his ministry…

I NEED JESUS

I NEED JESUS

I NEED JESUS

I’ve been traveling on a around the world trip from LA to Jerusalem to Seoul Korea and now finally back home to Los Angeles. It’s been an amazing trip and daily have had supernatural personal encounters in both nations. What has burdened my heart the most is that I’ve met so many “believers” or “Christians” on this trip whether they be artists, entertainers, business executives, to housewives and students who have gone to church their entire lives… but most I would say, “Don’t really have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.” In fact, most do all the right things a Christian should do, but most don’t actually know God…

I met a person the first night I came to Seoul Korea. This person is very well known, very accomplished, in the eyes of the public a strong believer, faithful to the family, serves in the church and owns a successful company. But this person contacted me to meet for an emergency… I felt led by God to meet with this person and when we met I found out the pain, emptiness and struggles in this person’s heart. This person was empty, on the outside everything seemed perfectly good, perfectly Christian, but on the inside this person was just going through the motions, living in duty and obligation for their entire life. Having faith, but no heart. Having religion, but no relationship. I looked this person straight into the eyes and said, “I don’t think your problem is how to get rid of this sin in your life, I think the deeper issue is that you don’t know God.”

MICHAEL JACKSON ~ GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

MJ IS IN HEAVEN

Michael Jackson died at age 50. My heart is saddened because we have lost one of the greatest entertainers of all time. I still remember the first music video I ever watched as a kid, none other but “Thriller.” MJ changed the game. He revolutionized music, dancing, style, performance, pop culture and the list goes on. Although his life was full of challenges, my heart & prayers go out to him, his family and his closest friends. His contribution to humanity, his courage to do what was never done, his life that was lived will forever & ever be remembered. I pray his soul to keep. Rest in peace MJ, you are gone but never forgotten. Thank you for being an inspiration to millions… I have faith & hope that you are doing the “moon walk” on the streets of gold in heaven right now! Keep on dancing!

THROWN UP DA WESTSIDE W/ ANJELAH @ HER DVD SHOOT!
FASHION DESIGNS SKETCHES FOR HER SHOOT

FASHION DESIGNS SKETCHES FOR HER SHOOT

So one of my greatest joys is seeing my good friends SHINE like they were born to ^^ I met Anjelah Johnson about 4 years ago during my friends B-day party at my home church. She did a stand up routine that you might be familiar with called “Nail Salon Lady” … when I saw it I cracked up so hard people thought I was crazy in the room… little did they know both me and Anjelah grew up with Vietnamese people in East Side San Jose! 408 represent!!!

After that hilarious experience, God told me he would elevate her to stardom quickly and to pray for her. I asked Anj after her performance if she had her routine on DVD or youtube.com? She said, “No” … I said, “I need it because God’s going to make you famous! LOL!” Well, the rest is history…We ended up becoming incredible friends praying and supporting each other in this little town called Hollywood. Well, I’m here to tell you that Anjelah is not just FUNNY, but she is the real deal Holyfield!! I’m just super proud of her because she has kept her purity, her purpose and her focus to be all that God created her to be w/out compromising her faith, integrity and self respect. She is an AMAZING woman of God and one fun person to be around!

DEREK FISHER IS DA MAN! ~ CHARACTER VS. TALENT

A TRUE LEADER OF CHARACTER
A TRUE LEADER OF CHARACTER

I sat there tonight with my brothers Jonder, Jinder, Brian and Yun with our fingers in our mouth, standing up in front of the TV, SCREAMING at the top of our lungs when Derek Fisher the veteran point guard for the LA Lakers made the game tying and then the game winning 3PT shots against the Orlando Magic! … It was definitely one of the best NBA play off games I have seen in a long time. It was a moment I will never forget… I could barely breathe!

What hit me hardest was after the game what the announcers, coach Phil Jackson had to say about the star player of the game, no it wasn’t Kobe this time, it was Derek Fisher. For years critics have been telling the Lakers to get rid of Derek Fisher, “He’s too old, he’s not fast enough, he’s not  young enough, he don’t got it anymore, we can do better!” But tonight, all that was proven wrong when clearly his leadership was shown in the games most crucial moments.
