HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! 11/11
I was born on 11/11…
I always thought my birthday was cool :) I think my birthday was pre-destined. Let’s see in America it’s Veteran’s Day. In Korea it’s Pocky Sticks Day. If you put two fingers up on both hands while taking a picture, you are officially Asian which also equals 11/11. Anyways, I’m thankful to God, thankful to all my family and friends, thankful to you and thankful for being given the opportunity to LIVE!
29 years ago, my mother nearly aborted me. By the grace of God 5 minutes before she went through with the abortion she saw a Christian she knew in the hospital clinic and decided not to abort me. Thank God! I am so thankful for each day I have been given, for each breath that I’ve been given to breath, for each person I have met in this world and thankful for life.
This is my last year as twenty something… I can honestly say that I’ve given God my best. At 21 I told God I wouldn’t date for 7 years of my twenties… well, I can say that I gave it my best and at the age of 29 I’m still serving God with a single heart and full devotion. A lot of things have happened in my twenties… I’ve traveled the world preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I’ve seen God do signs, wonders and miracles to touch the lost, the least and the last. I’ve witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit move unprecedented continually, day by day for the last 10 years, I’ve been on a crazy adventure with God that never seems to let up nor let me down. Yet, at the age of 29 even after encountering God and all His goodness around me, I can honestly say the one thing that makes me more happy than anything else in this world… is knowing my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To know Him is to know happiness. To know Him is to find joy. To know Jesus is to know life. There is nothing in this world that could make me more happy than knowing that I have a Savior who loves me for me, who loves me even when I fail, who loves me even with all my problems and weaknesses, HE LOVES ME! OH HOW HE LOVES ME!
So on 11/11 I am once again reminded of the goodness of God’s love towards me. His love that has set me free from sin and bondage. His love that makes me whiter than snow. His love that satisfies, completes and fulfills me totally. His love that is everything to me. Thank You Jesus for another year, and may every year that you give me be lived, walked and breathed with You. I LOVE YOU!

I’m so glad that God has put you on this earth and allowed you to live His divine purpose.. If He didn’t, then today I wouldn’t have the fire that God gave me through you. You have been came an inspiration and a great role model like Paul in The New Testament for me.

and Live the My ultimate Purpose to Glorify God like you do. Because you live a life for God.. you have helped me realize that God has greater plans for me than I can imagine.. I never been so hyped about my life before..

So I thought it was interesting when I cam across your blog. And also found alot of similarities in your life and mine… Strange but amazing… I also took a Nazarite consecration to be single, but for 5 years when I was 23. I’m 26 at the moment… Just listened to your Teaching on the Nazarite Call (HK Fire Runner Conference, Aug 24 07). I have also been preaching lately about John the Baptist and the Nazarite calling alot…

I just came across this page because 11/11 just hit me. 11 has always been my favorite number =D. However as I was reading your entry, it really inspired me. I’m a marriage and family therapist in training and to see how you’ve worked through the fact that you were almost aborted. Though you didn’t say much about it, the pain is real and I know it wasn’t easy but it’s a blessing to see how God has worked in your life. I see a lot of suffering everyday as I sit with my clients and I’m writing a paper on the theology of suffering now. Thanks for sharing your reality and how God brought so much hope to that reality.
i am inspired by your notes.For the past 25 years,I’ve been struggling with my inner conflicts of trusting Him. I answered His calling several times,I went to Him but ran away from Him for 25 years.I own most of the staffs anybody would like to have,yet,deep down,i feel a void so huge i attempted committed suicide 5 times in 2 months time!I know there’s no way I could ever go near Him,yet I want to try,at least for one last time!I’ve been communicating with so many pastors,yet I what i got were all disappointments.Would you help me?

Came across your blog as I was researching on the significance of the numbers 1111. You are the second person whom I know born at such a date and I do agree it has a signifant meaning to it. Praise God for the work you are doing.
What was even more bizarre was the fact that at age 20, I also made a pledge to remain single for 7 years. The pledge ended in 2008. So I find great comfort that I am and was not alone. LOL. It wasn’t easy but knowing that God will see me thru gave me sufficient strength to persevere .
