LEADERSHIP TRANSITION – FROM THE CAMPUS TO THE CITY

Campus Church Networks

Dear CCN Family and Friends,

I thank God for each of you praying and supporting me these last 5 years of ministry with Campus Church Networks. I am writing this letter to share with you some exciting and awesome news.

When I began CCN 5 years ago, I had a passion to reach the next generation with the Gospel by planting student-led churches on every campus, every city and every nation for Christ. It started with a dream in my heart that was placed there by God. In the last 5 years we have seen campus churches planted on nearly 50 campuses in North America and over 200 campuses in East Asia. It has been a true joy to see the Great Commandment and the Great Commission being fulfilled through this ministry. I continue to thank God daily for all the souls that have been saved, the disciples made and the churches planted. I believed then and I will believe till the day I die that the campus is the greatest harvest and greatest mission field to reach for Jesus. If we can change the campus today, we can reach the world tomorrow!

My desire from the beginning was to believe God for another student volunteer mission movement that would not only change the campus, but change every city and nation with the power of the Holy Spirit. As the founder who started Campus Church Networks I realized early on that my primary gifting is to pioneer new churches and ministries and speak as a prophetic voice into various movements. As I felt the Lord leading me to pioneer again in new arenas beyond the campus where the gospel was not being heard, I prayed for the last 3 years for the Lord to provide a quality leader who could take the campus church planting movement from where it started 5 years ago and continue to build it to go above and beyond what I could ever imagine. By God’s grace, God has provided that leader in Erik Fish.

Starting in 2009 Erik Fish will be the National Team Leader for Campus Church Networks. Erik is a close brother and trusted friend whom I have been able to covenant with to believe God for another student mission movement to be birthed and complete the task of preaching the Gospel of the kingdom to all nations in this generation. Erik has been involved in campus ministry and student missions for over 10 years, preaching the gospel, making disciples and building ministries in the Midwest region. God brought me and Erik together over 1 year ago as the Lord had supernaturally called Erik to start “student churches” and believe God for another student mission movement to be born on North American universities to ultimately reach the nations.

Officially, in 2009 I will be passing on my role as National Church Planting Director for Campus Church Networks to Erik Fish who will partner his ministry, Student Church Movements, under one banner to see EVERY CAMPUS, EVERY CITY and EVERY NATION reached for Christ! I fully believe in Erik’s leadership and have never met any campus ministry leader in all my years as dedicated and committed to the goal of fulfilling our Lord’s commission through a student church planting movement. Erik is a man of honor, a man of great faith and a man with a mantle from God to lead and to build a new student mission movement for the Gospel. It is my honor to pray and support him in this mission. I encourage you to join with me in praying for and supporting Erik in this new season.

This transition is also very exciting for me, as I will be freed to pursue more projects that require the pioneering gifting within me. I will still be involved with CCN as the founder and a prophetic voice in the movement. My heart is to learn to be a true spiritual father to the growing networks of churches in this spiritual family. I will be supporting Erik and the international and national teams relationally and spiritually. I believe my leadership will be best utilized by serving our network of leaders with prayers, fasting and prophetic encouragement.

At the same time, I will be pioneering new church planting movements specifically in Hollywood Ca to reach the media and entertainment field for Jesus Christ. I believe the campus is where it begins, but the end goal is to see every city and nation worshipping and giving glory to our Lord. As a leader and pioneer I want to show our student missionaries by example how to win souls, make disciples and plant churches from the campus into the city context. Our focus is to bring reformation to all of society in the areas of: Government, Business, Education, Media, Arts, Family and Religion. These are exciting times as already I have seen new churches birthed in Hollywood Ca reaching artists and entertainers in this field. I believe by transforming media we can transform the hearts, minds and beliefs of entire generations to come. Please keep me and this new mission in prayer.

Thank you again for all your prayers, love and endless support.
I can honestly say, “I feel REALLY good” about this new season of life. I’m excited to know Jesus more and to continually seek the Father’s will in making Him known. God is good!

Under the mercy,

Jaeson Ma

A note from Erik…
All over North America, students are burning to see God move in power on college campuses and the nations. In 14 years of college ministry, I’m more encouraged than ever to see multiplying numbers of students walking in rhythm with God’s heart to see all nations reached with the gospel.

Could this be the beginning of a new student missions movement that will see the Great Commission fulfilled in our generation? We believe so!

Almost two years ago, my wife and I laid our lives afresh before the Lord, seeking God for a fresh revelation of his heart for college campuses and the nations. After we sensed Him saying, “Campus Churches”, the Lord led me to Jaeson in a supernatural way. God quickly began to knit our hearts together and I could see the hand of God leading us to serve together to mobilize a new student missions movement. I am thankful to God for this special relationship and am honored to carry on the dream Jaeson pioneered to empower students to plant churches in every campus, city, and nation for Christ.

Thank you for your prayers, friendship and partnership to see God’s kingdom realized on the earth.

Until all nations are reached,

Erik Fish

National Team Leader

Campus Church Networks/Student Church Movements

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

    Hi Jaeson
Do you have any campus church networks in San Francisco? We have a friend who really needs a campus ministry in his life because he is suicidal.
    Thank You

My name is Kristen Faust and I am currently a sophomore in college. I heard your song “Love” and was touched in so many ways because it was as if someone took those words right out of my head. Before I heard your song I asked God to help me find someone or a group of people that can help me with my problem. When I got onto the computer to research groups, or places, youtube came up without me clicking or selecting it, and when it was finished loading your song came up and starting playing on it’s own. I truely believe God answered my prayer by bringing me to you. That’s how I ended up here. When I was 16 I to had an experience that changed my life. Since then I have dedicated my life to God by helping in the church and teaching the youth about faith, love, and God.I’ve watched a lot of your videos through youtube and was amazed with the fact that what you say to people is exactly how I feel or what I tell people. It was really nice to witness someone who is a lot like me because where I am from there are very few people who share the same beliefs and knowledge as I do. It’s been my battle trying to get the youth to see, know, and love God the way I do. The youth is dying down in the churches around here and I would really like to put a stop to it. I would like to get more involved but I’m not sure where to go with all of this, so I was wondering if you could give me some advice. If you could help me in anyway, I would be forever greatful. Thank you for your time and the boost of faith. God Bless.

    Sincerely,
    Kristen Faust
