Namesake is a hip hop crew comprised of Jaeson Ma and Mike Whang from Los Angeles California. Their mission is to create Hip-Hop music that communicates the reality, truth and power of God's love. It is heart felt music that seeks to encounter God's manifest presence. The sound is distinct, best described as a fusion of prophetic worship and hip hop rap - we call it "worship rap."
